“My flower in your barrel hasn’t stopped the slaughter yet.”-Every Time I Die, “Religion of Speed”
“A nation without God’s guidance is a nation without order.”-Proverbs 29:18
As it stands, our society is profoundly sick, and this sickness is not just limited to the United States. The constant denial of human nature has caused that very same human nature to manifest itself in some truly hideous ways. The Cult of Leftism luxuriates in ecstatic emptiness, enabling seriously defective people and catering to their worst instincts. They have no God but still a master—the unceasing drive for temporal pleasure in a life devoid of meaning, beholden to situational ethics and the paradoxical moral certitude of moral relativism. These subliminal crusaders can read intentionality all over your face (unless you’re Muslim and you do the work for them by screaming Allahu Akbar! before killing someone, in which case they know the attack was decidedly not about religion), ascribing nefarious motive as if they have some kind of telekinetic abilities.
What this new world the Left has created demands is capitulation to the realization of Islam’s true definition: submission. I submit to no one. I cannot pretend to divine God’s Will in the tea leaves, and I’ve never been shaken by the Holy Ghost to gibber in tongues, but I have felt something akin to the animating energy of religion, and for me, it transcends mere earthly squabbles and gives us power to become something more, something greater. I believe that Islam is illegitimate because it is too preoccupied with terrestrial concerns. We are mere playthings in the cosmos; we were created in God’s image because God is All. Therefore each one of us has the potential to channel divine energies in our own forms of creation, or glimpse the divine through art, or psychedelics, or whatever medium reverberates deepest with each of us as we endeavor to access greater truths.
A conservator is defined as, “A person responsible for the repair and preservation of works of art, buildings, or other things of cultural or environmental interest.” Yes, we want to conserve our cultural landmarks, traditions, and even the natural world, but we also don’t want to stagnate and be unable to evolve like Islam. I mentioned in an earlier piece that conservatives are due for a re-branding, and perhaps as part of that re-branding or even re-interpretation of what it means to be on the Right we can harness the elemental energy that drove Christendom and Western Man to the heights of creation, discovery, and innovation—perhaps more than anything, this spirit is the European inheritance, and it’s being crushed to make room for multi-culturalism and cheap labor. It took the United States just sixty-six years to go from inventing flight to landing on the moon. We have the ability to expand our scope beyond this planet and out into the infinite realms of space, yet we remain bogged down by ideologies that have no place in our collective conscious.
Something to consider is that although the United States is a secular nation in practice, in principle we are a Christian nation, founded by Europeans on very specific ideals. I would never advocate for the intrusion of religion on civic life, hence why I am so vehemently opposed to Islam, but there’s something to be said for returning to the teachings of Christianity and engaging with them, even if it is just metaphorically. And do you want to know something? Atheism is boring. Nihilism is boring. Believing in nothing is played out. It’s not subversive or transgressive or cool, it’s actually quite lame. I’m not saying you must become a True Believer, but at minimum opening yourself up to a sense of wonder and spirituality, even if it’s of the secular variety, will enable you to get off the hamster wheel of materialism and temporary pleasure. Our culture is about as transcendent as a log of shit in a filthy public toilet; there’s nothing for us there but herpes-tainted blowjobs and a deep sense of guilt and shame. We must turn away from the immediate urges and look to the past to re-discover what made the West and the European spirit so great; to see what impelled men to sail for unknown continents and to land on the face of the moon. Look at it as a kind of second Renaissance.
Dispensing with the hair shirt mentality is the first step to accepting that not only is it perfectly fine to be proud of your heritage, but that you should be proud of your heritage. The only way to be pardoned by the Monoculture is to condemn, condemn, condemn the cis-het-white patriarchy, and even then, you’ll inevitably wind up like Robbie Williams in the “Rock DJ” music video, tearing yourself apart layer-by-layer until there’s nothing left but a dancing skeleton. No amount of self-flagellation is going to fix the sins of your forbears, but you have already been redeemed White Man: the balance sheet is stained with blood for everyone, but no other civilization can look on what its people have accomplished and built with such pride. Cultural Marxism exists only to estrange Europeans from their greatness and elevate via relativism that which is inferior in order to create the illusion of civilizational equality.
The hollow uniformity and veneration of the inferior, this religion of false equivalences permeates our culture from film to music, bringing everything low and erasing dynamism in an unceasing beat of toneless transience; modern pop music is just so repetitive and deadening. This insipid trash exhorts its listeners to abandon self-awareness and live in a hyper-present state of solipsism. This is not coincidence—look at the avatars of “celebrity” and, more tellingly, who is behind them. It’s not like I’m some kind of prude, do your thing, but it’s worth noting that contrasted with Back In My Day (which wasn’t actually all that long ago), Millenials are having less sex but contracting more STDs. What’s not changed is that blacks and Hispanics, as you’d imagine, are wildly over-represented. Another bizarre paradox of the Left: repressive hedonism (debauched moralism?).
The Leftist codex is a weird and contradictory thing. They preach amoral morality, and fatuously play-act fighting Nazis while drinking adult craft beverages. They are obsessed with attaching virtue to morally neutral concepts, such as “diversity”; there’s nothing inherently virtuous about having a lot of different-looking people in one place, but there are certainly ramifications: Hepatitis A and semen-tainted flutes carrying who-knows-what in California, tuberculosis and leprosy in West Texas, the Bubonic Plague (!) in New Mexico…Long-eradicated or steeply declining diseases are re-emerging in the United States for one primary reason: un-trammeled immigration. We certainly should not lament our ability to globe-trot, and there are wont to be exotic diseases contracted by travelers even if precautions are taken, but the central concern is that there has been a sharp rise in communicable diseases that no Westerner should ever be exposed to on their home soil. If there is the freak contraction of something abroad, stay the fuck in quarantine, Kaci Hickox! The core of the problem is that our non-existent borders can allow anyone to just waltz on in. Strong borders are vital to national survival for many reasons, not least of which is the health of a nation’s citizens. If you import the Third World, you become the Third World. It really is that simple.
A facility in Artesia, New Mexico, meant to house illegal aliens’ families, offers a glimpse in microcosm of what the United States is allowing to pass through its indefensibly undefended southern border. Per the Washington Times:
Communicable diseases continue to be a problem at the New Mexico facility built to house illegal immigrant families surging across the U.S.-Mexico border, and the immigrants themselves aren’t taking their own health care very seriously, according to an audit. “Family unit illnesses and unfamiliarity with bathroom facilities continued to result in unsanitary conditions,” Inspector General John Roth wrote in a memo to Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson. Mr. Roth said the illnesses—which put the facility in Artesia, New Mexico, on lockdown earlier this year, preventing any immigrants from being transferred in or out—have proved to be a continuing problem. Part of the issue is the immigrants themselves, some of whom have never seen a doctor before, don’t follow up afterward, either for themselves or their children.
Unfamiliarity with bathroom facilities? This is what we’re allowing to occur on our own soil—adults who are not potty trained. This is absolutely disgusting, and it facilitates the spread of diseases like E. coli and Hepatitis A. Incidentally, California is at present wrestling with a huge Hepatitis A outbreak originating in San Diego County, most likely attributable to a) the burgeoning homeless population the state ignores, and b) unchecked illegals inter-mingling—and for both, a lack of access to and/or unwillingness to use public toilet facilities. The outbreak has spread as far afield as Sacramento, and at least six hundred people have been infected. Hepatitis A is most commonly spread by feces-to-mouth contact, often through contaminated food. According to Dr. Monique Foster of the CDC: “It’s not unusual for [outbreaks] to last quite some time—usually over a year.” As Santa Cruz public health manager Jessica Randolph states: “I don’t think the worst is over.”
I can assure you, it’s not. It is now no longer a felony to knowingly expose a sexual partner to HIV (or give HIV-positive blood) without prior notification in the State of California. The bill, signed by Governor Jerry Brown and introduced by gay State Senator Scott Wiener of San Francisco (shock), is aimed at “de-stigmatizing” the communicable disease, its genesis prompted by what Wiener believed was the “irrational and discriminatory” nature of the existing law. This is truly a sign of the times if there ever was one.
For Richard Dawkins, the meme (“a unit of cultural transmission”) is a viral phenomenon that exhibits evolutionary behavior and responds to selective pressures at the inter-generational level of a group or society (think ideas, traditions, symbols, et cetera—anything that can be imitated and mentally internalized). The meme is also capable of spreading even while simultaneously harming the host (for Aaron Lynch, the meme can double as a “thought contagion”). Thus what is appealing and has enough resonance with enough people can spread even if the content of the meme is harmful or even lethal. The digitization of the world allows for the speed with which a meme can replicate like a virus (hence the phrase “going viral”) to increase exponentially. Often times these destructive memes are packaged in Trojan Horse fashion, thus ushering dangerous concepts such as Islam, multi-culturalism, egalitarianism, anti-nationalism, anti-white rhetoric, or some combination thereof right past the usual defenses as they are attached to and cloaked by seemingly-benign or generally “agreeable” sentiments. In a borderless world, a contagion—literal or figurative—can rapidly become a global pandemic.
Who would’ve thought a 7th century pedophile would end up being the most influential figure of the 21st? We were supposed to be on Mars by now, and instead we’re debating whether or not we find removing young girls’ clitorises morally objectionable! The continued existence of Islam in its medieval form, particularly its presence in the West, offends me by every possible measure. One way to think of the hijacked and hollowed-out form of liberalism the Left propagates is as a thought- and soul-infection analogous to HIV. Whether it was after World War I or even before in the gradual abandonment of God in the nineteenth century, the HIV was contracted and has since become AIDS, continuing to eat away at the Western immune system at an ever-accelerating rate. Remember, though, AIDS is never what kills you, but it does enable the opportunistic virus that ultimately does to do so. It may just be that the crazed Mohammedans or opportunistic “migrants” of the Third World bring down the most spectacular civilization the world has ever seen, but it won’t be because of their strength, it’ll be because of our weakness.
